Carlton Ware was a pottery manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. The company is known for its often rather garish tableware and the ceramic toucan made as a promotional item for Guinness. It produced hand-painted ‘deco’ style domestic pottery in the 1920s-1930s.
