Minton/ Mintons was a major ceramic manufacturer in Staffordshire. Founded in 1793 by Thomas Minton and Joseph Poulson. The company is famous as a leader in ceramic design. Royal Doulton bought the company in 1968.

Mintons China is highly collectible and commands high prices; especially for Victorian pieces.
