1930s Carlton Ware Oak Tree Decorative Leaf Shaped Dish Pattern 1157-3

This is a very nice vintage pottery 1930s Carlton Ware Oak Tree Decorative Leaf Shaped Dish Pattern 1157-3.

It has a beige background with an embossed oak tree, in daylight, sporting an array of acorns. The pattern is 1157-3 or 'Oak Tree' or 'Day Oak.'

Maximum Approximate Dimensions:

• Top Width: 24.6 cm
  
• Top Depth: 15.8 cm
• Base Width: 10cm (4")
• Height- 5cm 

It is in good condition, with no restoration work, cracks, or chips. 

This would make a great addition to a Carlton Ware collection or use as a nut bowl.

The maker’s mark on the base is as follows:-

Carlton Ware (which is blurred along with other marks)

1157-3 is also impressed on the base.
