Vintage Scottie Dog White Metal Ashtray/Trinket Dish

This very cute object is a Vintage Scottie Dog White Metal Ashtray/Trinket Dish. Dating to about the 1930s, the ashtray depicts a loveable Scottie Dog stood on top of a grassy, craggy, knoll.

In good condition, with some manufacturing defects including air holes: the most obvious one is on the side of the dog nearest the tray as seen in the photograph. There is also some pitting and discolouration: I’ve not attempted to polish it as some people prefer to see the patina of age.
Unfortunately, I’ve not managed to trace the manufacturer and there doesn’t appear to be a maker’s mark.
