1965 Express Dairies Sterling Silver Tie Clip/Bar And Chain

This is a rather nice, vintage, 1965 Express Dairies Sterling Silver Tie Clip/Bar And Chain Long Service Association Award. But equally apt with anyone with ‘E’ as an initial letter in their name: calling all Edwards, Ernests or Emilys!

The 1965, 925 Silver, tie bar/clip chain is attached, via a chain, to an enamel metal badge with the Express Dairies Logo.

Hallmarked on the tie bar:

• T&S (Birmingham Silversmith: Turner & Simpson, Legge Lane. Manufacturers of good class Silver Ware in Enamel. 1912-1979)
• Anchor (Birmingham Assay Office)
• Lion Passant (925 Silver)
• Q (1965)

Very good pre-owned vintage condition. There is some tarnishing of the metal, which is only visible on close inspection.

This would make a great gift for collector’s of silver ephemera, vintage tie pins or commemorative jewellery.
