If you collect militaria, radio communications devices or vintage technology, then this WW2 US Army Signal Corps Milliammeter Test Set I-139-A In A Metal Case, with a Bendix AC 58220-1 plug, is just for you! Made by Colonial Radio Corp, manufacturers of the famous ‘World Globe Radio’ in 1933.
This small test set would have been used on WW2 US. Military aircraft for measuring current on signal generators (1-130-A), radio transmitter (BC-625) and radio receiver (BC-624).
The metal box is in good vintage condition with a few surface scuffs, rust, and minor scratches. The meter is in fair cosmetic condition but has not been tested: it does have a slight crack in the glass window.
The milliammeter, located within the metal box, is marked as follows:-
