Portmeirion Chamber Pot Commemorating The Grumbleweeds At Jollees

This very unusual souvenir is a 1980s Portmeirion Chamber Pot Commemorating The Grumbleweeds At Jollees!

Made by the highly regarded Portmerion based in the Potteries in Staffordshire, the chamber pot has no chips or restoration but is crazed and has a hairline crack in the side. 

I would use it as an indoor planter; I've even seen chamber pots used as ice buckets!

Approximate Size:

• Top diameter: 18cm
• Height: 10cm
• Base Diameter: 13cm

Probably considered non-PC by today's standards, the chamber pot sports cartoon-like images of ladies in swimming costumes and messages including:-

• I'll be seeing you on the inside of the pot
  
• Carl on the outside (probably named after the band member Carl Sutcliffe)
  
• The Grumbleweeds At Jollees on the side

Those of us of a certain age will remember The Grumbleweeds as a British Comedy Band particularly popular in the 1980s on TV and the Radio. They also played live shows, one of which was at the live music venue, Jollees, in Stoke-On-Trent.
