This is a beautiful Pair Of 1960s German Cortendorf Wall Masks Comprising A Boy And Girl: models 3410 and 3411 respectively. The boy has his eyes open and the girl's eyes are closed. They are exquisitely moulded.
These small wall hanging masks are in good display condition with a few surface blemishes. The boy has no chips, cracks or restoration, whereas the girl wall mask has hairline cracks, mostly visible on the base, but is intact with no chips. The price has been adjusted to account for the defects.

The girl is impressed with 3411 but has no visible printed back stamp.
Dating to the 1960s, they were made in Cortendorf, now part of Coburg, by Porzellanfabrik Julius Griesbach whom were in business from 1890-1973 when the company became part of W. Goebel.
