Pair of 1928 Hand Painted Gilded Floral Porcelain Pin Dishes By M McC

This is an absolutely gorgeous Pair of 1928 Hand Painted Gilded Floral Porcelain Pin Dishes By M.McC or M.MC.

They are a very delicate pale green-blue in background colour with a hand painted flower sprig, (which I think are forget-me nots), and accompanying butterfly. The sinuously wavy edges are gilded.

In very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration; there is some loss in gilding.

Back marked painted with 1928 and M McM or M.M'C. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything about the maker. They could be art pottery from an individual studio or, more likely, from one of the Scottish potteries.
