Are Morse Keys still made? The answer is yes, by a company called Kent Engineers of Tarleton, Preston, UK. They make all sorts of different morse keys which have changed little in design since the company was first founded in the 1960s.

This particular key was bought in the late 1990s/ early 2000s and is referred to as a 'paddle' Morse key. You can still buy this key and some spares. It is in pretty good used condition with some discolouration of the brass and surface scuffs/scratches on the metal plinth. The base of the key has 4 rubber on-slip feet to give the machine stability. New, these devices are sold in kit form and cost over £130. We are offering this vintage version for £75.
There is a label on the key which shows that it was manufactured by Kent, Tarleton, Preston, PR4 6YB, UK.
A nice vintage key where the design has stood the test of time!
