The lithographed tins are in fair vintage condition, and made from metal. There is some paint loss and rust on both tins.
Each tin would have held 500 tablets.
The tins would have held the following:-
- Sonalgin was a compound drug comprising Butophen with Codeine. It was made by May & Baker of Dagenham, UK. The brand name is no longer in use and is not to be confused with Somalgin, which is a NSAID based on Salicylates. Height 12.2cm diameter: 7.5cm

Soneryl comprised Butobarbitone, a barbiturate. It was made by May & Baker of Dagenham, UK and classified as a Poison! The brand name is used today for an antihistamine topical cream for insect bites and stings made by Sanofi. Height: 8cm, Diameter 6.2cm

Sulphatriad was a compound Sulphonamide, an antibiotic, comprising Sulphathiazole, Sulphadiazine and Sulphamerazine. It was made by May & Baker of Dagenham, UK, and classified as a Poison! Height: 16cm Diameter: 6.3cm
