The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited (BSA) was established in 1861 and, at its peak, was a major group of British businesses manufacturing military and sporting firearms; bicycles; motorcycles; cars; buses and bodies and industrial processing.
BSA sold their bicycle business to Raleigh in 1957 after separating the bicycle and motorcycle business in 1953.
