This is a very pretty little 1920s / 1930s E Radford Burslem Delphinium Hand Painted Vase 39/ECI.
Hand painted with orange/red and blue flowers, It's in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It does have significant crazing, which is most noticeable inside the vase.

- Base Diameter: 6.4 (2.5")
The base is marked with the signature E Radford 39/ECI
39 is the shape, EC is the pattern, and I is the colour
Made by Edward Radford, who set up Radford Handcraft Pottery in 1930, which was situated within the HJ Wood Pottery Works. Edward Radford joined H. J. Wood in the early 1920s as a designer and decorator of ornamental earthenware. He was a contemporary of Charlotte Rhead.
A lovely small vase for herbs, a spring posy or as a pen/pencil desk tidy.
