Vintage Radios At Mullard Antiques & Collectibles
We love our vintage radios here at Mullard Antiques & Collectibles! We specialise in old technology, which means predominantly Analogue and not Digital (DAB) and in those that are mainly, but not exclusively, manufactured in Britain. From the 1930s to the 1990s, valves to transistors, and real wood to leather, we love it all!
We have a few of the iconic manufacturers in the collection including; Roberts, Hacker and Bush. All the radios are stripped, cleaned, polished, fixed and working prior to sale. Wherever possible, we try to keep the parts original but sometimes replacement is necessary in order to make the radio function properly.

1980s Tan Roberts R800 MW/LW/FM Portable Transistor Radio
Similarly, except for a clean and polish, we like to keep the case covers original, but sometimes this just isn’t possible. Rexine (leatherette) in particular can scuff, scratch and tear, so in this instance we do replace with a variety of natty fabrics. I particularly like the cotton cat themed fabric
Bush Model TR112 Portable Recovered 1970s Radio
and a rather fetching Orla Kiely style spots!
Roberts R701 3 Waveband Portable Transistor Radio
We’ve lots more radios in our collection just waiting for some tender, loving care. They just seek their ideal home from collectors of vintage radio or just those of us whom like to complement our home décor with that eye catching working accessory!
