WW2 Pair Of RAF Headphones With Type 32 Helmet Receivers 10A/13466 

A wonderful WW2 Pair Of RAF Headphones With Type 32 Helmet Receivers 10A/13466. Used by both Air Crew and Ground Crew, these types of headphones were also used with the R1155/T1154 aircraft communications radio.

In fairly good cosmetic condition with a few surface blemishes commensurate with age and use. The chamois ear pads are discoloured with blemishes. 

  • Approximate Size excluding wire (WHD):  20.0 x 21.0 x 8.0 cm / 7.9 x 8.3 x 3.1 inch
  • The bakelite ear receivers are stamped 10A/13466 with AM and the crown (where 10A = Miscellaneous Radio (Wireless) Equipment). These ear pieces were also used with the RAF type C leather flying hemet, the khaki twill tropical type D flying helmet or the later pattern type E for coastal command usage
  • The rubber backed chamois leather ear pads are stamped 10A/12161.
  • The rubber coated wire headband, with solid rubber centrepiece and ear piece holders, is stamped 10A/12160
  • Original beige coloured braided wiring loom

A nice piece WW2 ephemera to add to your communication radio or militaria collection.
