WW2 Britains Toy Diecast Anti Aircraft Guns Models 1715 and 1718

These wonderful looking vintage toys are a pair of 40mm WW2 Britains Toy Diecast Anti Aircraft Guns Models 1715 and 1718 in their original light and dark khaki green paint. 

The owner had the toys from new in 1939 until he passed away aged 93. 

Approximate Size: 1/32 scale

• Height: 4.6cm (with gun barrel in the horizontal position)
  
• Base Diameter: 4.8cm
• Width (including barrel): 11cm

The toys are unboxed and in fair well-used condition. The metal of the lighter coloured gun is crushed at the front. Both guns have their original spring for loading the barrel, and wheel for moving the gun barrel up and down. 

They do have surface blemishes, rust, and corrosion (including holes), with non-working/missing parts, but still make nice display items.

Britains Ltd produced some wonderful tinplate toys, which were extremely well engineered.
