This lovely little black coated meter is a 1943 Vintage WW2 Boxed Air Ministry Sangamo Weston 0-4 Amp Ammeter 10A/12667 For A T1154 Communication Radio Transmitter. Made by Sangamo Weston, Enfield, Middlesex. It is amazing to find one in its original box dating to 1943!
In very good untested condition with some surface marks/dust, it formed part of the T1154 Radio transmitter set up in a wide range of WW2 warbirds, including the Lancaster bomber. Used to measure the ampere output between the T1154 and the Aerial “J” Switch (see attached schematic with a red arrow pointing to the ammeter).
