This is a real collector's item in the form of a WW2 Bendix Aviation Company USA Commander Coast Guard Paper Figure/Doll.

Measures approximately 14.8 cm in height, with a maximum width of 7.6 cm. 

In fantastic undisplayed condition, with discolouration/staining on the bottom left hand side, this paper figure is capable of standing upright if bent along the perforated edges. 

It's in exquisite detail and very colourful having been kept in an envelope for many years.

Bendix Aviation Corporation was a subsidiary of Bendix Radio, and they were noted for their aircraft radio equipment and accessories. These paper figurines were probably produced as promotional material.

An interesting addition to an aviation collection or for lovers of military history. Great for producing a WW2 themed diorama.
