This lovely little black coated meter is a WW2 Air Ministry Voltmeter 5A/1693 In A Wooden Box. Probably made by The Weir Electrical Instrument Co.Ltd, manufacturers of electronics and established in Bradford upon Avon, UK, in 1937. They are now part of P&B Weir Electrical Ltd.
The face of the meter is in pretty good condition with some surface storage marks/dust. The brown wood box, complete with brass connectors on top and a leather handle, does have surface blemishes and scratches. Sold as a collectible for display only.

- A.M (Air Ministry)
- Ref 5A/1693 (5A is the RAF stores reference for Electrical Ground Lighting)
- 1940
- Logo for The Weir Electrical Instrument Co.Ltd
- Range 0-40 volts
