1943 WW2 GEC Detector Q & I A.T.P Blasting Galvanometer & GCL Box Safety Test Cell S Mk II

If you collect vintage technology then this a very nice, genuine, 1943 WW2 GEC Detector Q & I A.T.P Blasting Galvanometer & GCL Box Safety Test Cell S Mk II (Shunt).

Used by the British and Allies Armed Forces in WW2 for detecting minute electrical currents in a demolitions circuit by deflecting a magnetised needle on the galvanometer dial. The deflection could be clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the current's direction.

It comes in its original, albeit slightly dirty, brown leather transit case, with transparent window for viewing with two bridging brass connectors. In very good cosmetic condition with a few surface scuffs and scratches in the wood. It has not been tested and is being sold as a display item only.
