Vintage Walker and Hall Howard Pewter 1/2 Pint Tankard 1227P

This is a 1930-50s Vintage Walker and Hall Howard Pewter 1/2 pint tankard 1227P.

The catalogue number of 1227P suggests it was made after 1935, possibly in 1952 (as the number 52 is also impressed on the base).

It is in good vintage condition but has surface scratches. I haven’t attempted to polish it as some people prefer the patina or to do this themselves. It would make a lovely gift to a collector or for drinking beer whilst watching the football. Just remember not to leave alcohol in it for more than 24 hours without giving it a wash!
