Vintage USAF Type HS33 Headphones With HB7 Headband and ANB H1 Receivers. Made by Western Electric

This is a lovely pair of Vintage USAF Type HS33 Headphones With HB7 Headband and ANB H1 Receivers. Made by Western Electric, these types of headphone were used on aircraft such as a Boeing B17/B29, and were issued to USAF aircrew during WWII and into the post-WWII USAF period, such as Korea. 

The impedance of the phones has been measured at 200 Ohms; left -104 R and right 102 R.
The headphones comprise the following:

• A leather HB-7 headband
• Two ANB-H-1 receivers stamped Western Electric, Made in USA, D173120
• Connected by a cord with the red PL-354 phono style plug. 
• Earphones are covered with full rubber ear cushions type MC-162A, which have perished slightly but are intact

A wonderful addition to a radio ephemera collection, and very stylish! The headphones have a few scuffs and surface scratches/blemishes commensurate with age and use. The leather headband is worn and scuffed.
