Vintage Tucker Telac Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch
For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine Vintage Telac Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch. It dates to about the 1930s/40s.
The face is brass and the back is brown porcelain.
Approximate size:
Base Diameter: 5.6 cm
Approximate height (base to tip of switch): 4 cm
It is in fair vintage condition with some paint on the porcelain base. There are also a few scuffs/scratches on the surface of the metal and some pitting. I haven't attempted to polish it as some people prefer to see the patina.
Ceramic base is embossed with:
Part 2660
TUCKER TELAC
2
Made in England
G933
The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.
