Vintage Swiza Sheffield Alarm Clock Shaped Like A Leather Suitcase

This is an exquisite, working, small Vintage Swiza Sheffield Alarm Clock Shaped Like A Leather Suitcase. A very unusual design, it has both a clockwork travel alarm clock and jewellery/cufflink compartment built in to a hard, folding, tan leather travel case.

Approximate Size when folded:
Case Width, Height, Depth (WHD): 12cm x 4cm x 7.5cm 

The clock is easily read from a distance and in the dark, as its hands are luminous. 

The dark brown leather covered casing is in very good vintage condition with some scuffs and surface blemishes commensurate with age and use. The brass is slightly discoloured/pitted with minor surface blemishes.

The radio clock dates to the 1960s, and was manufactured by Swiza, West Germany. It would probably require a CLA (clean, lube and adjust) service to guarantee accurate time keeping. There is some slight scuffing on the clock crystal.

I have timed the clock over a 24-hour period and it kept reasonable time (-30 seconds).

All in all a useable, novelty, travel radio alarm clock.
