Vintage Shortland SB Aneroid Barometer In A Circular Wood Surround
This is a very nice, traditional 1960s, Vintage Shortland SB Aneroid Barometer In A Circular Wood Surround. It has a recess in the back so that it can be wall hung.
The 4" circular barometer is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. It measures pressure in both inches and millibars: it appears to be working but I’m not sure as to it’s accuracy.
There are a few slight marks in the brass surrounds and the face dial, and some scuffs on the beautiful unstained oak wood. Otherwise, it is in pretty good condition for its age. Someone has put sticky tape at the rear of the barometer to hold it more securely in the wood surround.
