Vintage Rolls Royce Aircraft Engine Plate Badge With Mounting Holes
I believe this lovely looking badge is a Vintage Rolls Royce Aircraft Engine Plate Badge With Mounting Holes, possibly from a Rolls Royce (RR) Conway engine as used in a VC10.
Its quite large size probably means that it was designed to fit on a Rolls Royce aircraft engine as opposed to a car / lorry. There is a slight curve to the badge, which has black intertwined RR and Rolls Royce text on a chrome plate background.
Approximate Size:- 13.7 x 8.5 x 0.3cm
It has never been mounted, and is in pretty good condition with some scratches and marks in the chrome commensurate with age and storage. It hasn't been polished.
