Vintage Review Travel Radio Alarm Clock In A Brown Plastic Case
This is a working, Vintage Review Travel Radio Alarm Clock In A Brown Plastic Case. An unusual design, it has a both a MW/LW radio and travel alarm clock built in to a hard, folding, dark brown plastic travel case.
The radio, (both medium wave and Long wave), and clock have chrome surrounds with black accents. Both components are in pretty good working order. The clock is easily read from a distance and in the dark as its hands are luminous.
The hard dark brown leather-effect casing is in pretty good vintage condition with some scuffs and surface blemishes commensurate with age and use. The brown plastic surround also has surface scuffs and blemishes.
The radio clock dates to the 1960s, and was manufactured by Review in Hong Kong. It would probably require a CLA (clean, lube and adjust) service to guarantee accurate time keeping. There is some scuffing on the clock crystal.
I have timed the clock over a 24-hour period and it kept reasonable time (-30 seconds). The radio requires two AA (1.5v) batteries, which are not included as most couriers/postal services will not accept items containing batteries.
Approximate Size when folded:
Case Width, Height, Depth (WHD): 18cm x 4cm x 10cm
All in all a nice usable travel radio alarm clock.

NB: the images were taken with and without flash hence the differences in colour. The clock is dark brown in colour.
