Vintage Primus No.210 Portable Paraffin Picnic / Camping Stove In Its Original Tin Case

This lovely little object is a 1930s Vintage Primus No.210 Portable Paraffin Picnic / Camping Stove In Its Original Tin Case. Made by BA Hjorth & Co., Stockholm, Sweden under their brand name, Primus. This information is engraved on the side of the stove.

It comes with its original instructions (which are pretty sooty!), a brass draught shield and some Span stove pickers in their original paper sleeves. It hasn't been tested to see if it works, and I'm not sure of the date of manufacture but AB is the Primus code for 1937 and the instructions were printed in 1937.

The wickless stove comprises several parts; a top burner element, brass fuel pump and removable refuelling screw in a brass base with short folding legs, and three steel rails. I don't know if there is anything missing.

It all needs a very good clean / polish but appears to be in fairly good cosmetic condition with blemishes, slight dents and scratches commensurate with age and use. The red metal carry tin is in fair condition; intact but discoloured, scratched and dented.
