Vintage Pottery Elf / Pixie Made in the Irish Republic

If you love folklore then you can't fail to love this cute Vintage Pottery Elf / Pixie Made in the Irish Republic!

Approximate Size (WHD): 9.8 x 10 x 3.5 cm

In very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, there is some slight paint loss. It does have manufacturing defects, e.g air bubbles, which are most noticeable on the rear of the figure which is not decorated. Although the elf was made in the Irish Republic, probably as tourist ware, I don't know the manufacturer.

A nice little whimsy which is just a perfect size for a mantlepiece or dressing table. I'm not sure if they are a Pixie or Elf but it has wonderfully pointed ears and green hair. He appears to be wearing some kind of elvish 'onesie' covered with red and gold dots, and has a very cheeky smile!
