Vintage Norwegian M75 Military Camouflage Jacket
This is a very nice, (military surplus-'Kass'), Vintage Norwegian M75 Military Camouflage Jacket. The pattern was first developed in 1975 and is based on the USA M43 Combat Field Jacket.
The pattern features large dark green olive and russet shapes on a khaki-green background. I have taken photos indoors with flash and outdoors, hence the difference in colour. The jacket is in pretty good used condition with some repair work on the rear of the left sleeve, as shown in the photograph.
Approximate Jacket Measurements:
PLEASE CHECK THAT THESE MEASUREMENTS MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PURCHASE: Detailed individual measurements are given below to assist with this. You may also find it useful to measure an existing jacket, that's a good fit, as a comparison.
* Actual Jacket Measurements:-
Neck Opening: 50cm
Width at the bottom hem: 61.4cm
Chest (arm pit to arm pit, measured across the front): 54cm
Overall Length (excluding collar) shoulder to hem: 87cm
Inside Sleeve length: 56cm
Outside Sleeve length: 63cm
As a guide, the model pictured wearing this actual coat (over a T-shirt) is 6 ft in height and a 42-44" chest, and its a little tight on him.
The coat has the following features:
* Made from lined heavy cotton/polyester fabric
* Closure: Zip and stud buttons
* Pockets: Front comprises two chest and two lower pockets. The rear has a map pocket. All have button down flaps
* Waist and hem Adjustment Drawstrings
* Shoulder straps
* Button closure on the sleeve
The jacket is labelled NATO size: 7585/9000, which is supposedly :-
175-185cm (68.9" to 72.9" or 5 feet 8.9" to 6 foot 0.8") height and
90-100cm (35.4 to 39.4") chest size.
I think the size of this jacket is pretty generous for someone at the lower end of the range for height and chest size, so please use the actual jacket measurements at the start of this listing as your fitting guide.

The images have been taken in natural light and with flash, hence the differences in colour.
The Norwegian camo is now very scare to obtain as military surplus outlets throughout Europe and further afield ran out of supply some time ago. Good examples of similar M75 jackets are only found as prized items in personal camo collections, and prices are rising year-on-year.
