Vintage Myticuttah Garden Shrub Pruner And Lopping Shears

These lovely Vintage Myticuttah Garden Shrub Pruner And Lopping Shears were made by the Standard Manufacturing Company Limited, Rowditch, Derby: a well regarded Horticultural Instrument Makers and Purveyors.  

In good working condition, the blade could probably do with sharpening and there is some loss of surface paint as expected in a piece of this age. The wooden handles date it to about the 1930s, however the design dates back to at least 1899 as seen in the appended advert.
