Vintage Multi-Angled Bronze And Brass Bench Magnifier

We have available an original, Anglepoise style, adjustable Vintage Multi-Angled Bronze And Brass Bench Magnifier. A great looking collectible scientific instrument with useful magnification for your study, office, workplace or for bench craft/hobby work.

In good condition, with a slight dent in the bronze surrounding the magnifying glass, and some surface scuffs and blemishes. The wood has a slight crack and a few tiny chips.

Approximate Dimensions:

• Height at max. extension with glass at 90˚: 41cm
  
• Base Diameter:  14.2cm

The arms are made from Bronze with Brass brackets and it has a circular wood base. It can only be turned approximate 45 degrees but, similar to an Anglepoise lamp, the arm consists of three tiers which are all adjustable thanks to the black coated steel springs.

It has no discernible manufacturer's mark but dates to the early 20th Century; 1920s-40s. In good condition, with a slight dent in the bronze surrounding the magnifying glass, and some surface scuffs and blemishes.
