Vintage Matchbox Lesney Model Y5 1927 Talbot Van Lipton's Tea Models Of Yesteryear 

This is a boxed, 1977, Vintage Matchbox Lesney Model Y5 1927 Talbot Van Lipton's Tea Models Of Yesteryear. Both of the rear doors can be opened.

Condition: The model is unused and undamaged. The outer cardboard blister pack is discoloured with age and scuffed/creased.

Colour: Green and yellow with the Lipton's Tea Logo and Royal Crest. (NB: photos taken with and without flash hence the colour difference. The van is dark green in colour.)

Van Size: approximately 9.5cm length

The van was based on a 1927 14 horse power Talbot chassis with a custom built body. This enabled the tradesmen of the 1920s/30s to have a speedy and versatile means of delivery for their goods.
