Vintage Leak Trough Line II FM Valve Tuner

It's not often you come across a 1960s Vintage Leak Trough Line II FM Valve Tuner.

Manufactured by  the famous H.J. Leak & Co. Ltd and purportedly ex.BBC equipment where it was panel fitted and had a 600 ohm output power transformer attached.

In fairly good cosmetic condition, with scratches and surface blemishes on the sides of the case. The front panel fascia (diakon plastic) is in better condition with slight scratching near the tuner knob.  

It comes with its original quality inspection label dating to 1962.

 It is being supplied as a collector's item, not tested, in accordance with our terms and conditions.

First introduced in 1954 based on the BBC's collaboration with STC in developing FM broadcasting in Britain. It was, and still is, considerd a high quality tuner.
