Vintage Hornby Meccano O Gauge Platform Crane 

This preowned Vintage Hornby Meccano O Gauge Platform Crane Tinplate Model Railway Accessory, 1:43 scale, is a lovely accessory still in its original red box and in great condition! Dates from ~1948-1969.

O Gauge = 32mm

It has two turn handles which are both in working condition. One turns the crane either clockwise or anticlockwise, the other lowers and lifts up the crane hook

NB: the hook will be attached to the crane boom for shipping, (see 3rd and fourth images), hence to release the hook the cord will need gentle loosening by slightly turning the crane handle clockwise before use otherwise you'll snap the thread!

The colours are still quite vibrant and it looks to have had little use. It does have paint missing in a few small areas, and a few surface scratches, but is otherwise in excellent condition. 

The cardboard box is in pretty good condition with some surface scuffs / creases / blemishes.
