Vintage Hacker Radio Quadraphonic / Ambiophonic Unit QC1 For HiFi Loudspeakers
This small vintage Vintage Hacker Radio Quadraphonic / Ambiophonic Unit QC1 For HiFi Loudspeakers is in amazing cosmetic condition. It still has its original box with label, serial no. 01154, but no instructions and probably dates to the 1970s.
Approximate Unit Size (WHD): 19 x 8 (Including knobs) x 5.5 cm
I didn't realise that the world renowned Hacker Radio company (1966-1977) made other audio equipment but they apparently did! The print on the rear states:-
Designed and manufactured in Great Britain by Hacker Radio Ltd. Norreys Drive, Cox Green, Maidenhead, Berks
I'm not sure how this works but, once you have the inputs/outputs correct on your loudspeakers, you can choose between two channels/ mono / stereo /quad (ambiophonic or surround) sound when listening with your, now, vintage HiFi!
