Vintage Grundig Telephone adapter Type TA3

This strange looking adapter is a Vintage Grundig Telephone adapter Type TA3, almost as new and still boxed! Dating to about 1961, it was made by Grundig (Great Britain) Ltd, Kidbrooke Park Road, London SE3.

Apparently, these types of telephone accessories were often used with spy sets during the Cold War. This one has a few surface blemishes commensurate with age and storage.

It comprises a 3-pin plug and bakelite piece with rubber insert, connected by a black cord.
