Vintage Ferranti Clip On Bakelite Ammeter 50C/S In A Leather Transit Case. First made by Ferranti, of Hollinwood, Failsworth, Lancashire, UK in the 1930s; as seen in the advert below.  

This version dates to the 1950s. 

Although it has the original transit case, you will want to have this amazing looking bakelite instrument on display.

The unit has not been tested and is being sold as a collectible, for display only. It is in good cosmetic condition, with some surface scratches/blemishes commensurate with age and use. The leather transit case is blemished, scuffed and well-worn but is intact with no tears or breaks: it may benefit from a good clean/polish.
