Vintage Draper 505 24 Inch Wood & Brass Folding Ruler
This lovely rule is a Vintage Draper 505 24 Inch Wood & Brass Folding Ruler. Folds into a quarter (6") via a brass hinge and and joints to hold it together.
It is marked:
Draper 505 Made in Holland
The 24 inch ruler is in pretty good condition with a few scuffs, scratches. Dates to the late mid- 20th century. The main problem is that it hasn't had much use, hence the brass hinge is extremely stiff and could probably benefit from some WD40 to loosen it up. This would probably also help make the ruler lie flatter and close up more effectively.
A nice little ruler for the vintage tool collector!
