Vintage Deadbeat Moving Coil Milliammeter 0-10mA

This lovely little lab bench meter is a Vintage Deadbeat Moving Coil Milliammeter 0-10mA in a wood case with top surface connectors. Made in France with a registered trademark (HAH?), the meter dates to, about, the 1940s/50s.

In pretty good cosmetic and working condition, with some surface scratches and blemishes commensurate with age and use: it measures 33R (33Ω) across the terminals.
