Vintage Comitti of London Wall Barometer With Brass and Wood Surround

If you love vintage scientific instruments then this small Vintage Comitti of London Wall Barometer With Brass and Wood Surround is just for you! 

The barometer has a round recessed brass wall hanger on the rear of the square oak surround. Pressure is measured in millibars and inches, and it bears the Comitti OC anchor mark (Onarato Comitti).

Dating to about the 1960s, the barometer is in pretty good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are scratches in the glass, a few marks in the brass surround and the face dial, and some scuffs on the wood. It appears to be working but I’m not sure as to its accuracy. 

The rear of the base is marked 9 01.
