This is a wonderfully vibrant Vintage Cauldon Ware Triumphal Chariot Pottery Beaker With Blue And White Transfer Print.

The pattern is also known as Arcadia (Utopia), and depicts a scene comprising charioteers in a two-horse drawn chariot in a picturesque landscape with people close by and on top of a building sporting Doric columns.

• Base diameter: 5.2cm (2")

In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or restoration it does have some manufacturing defects e.g. air bubbles. 

Dates to approximately 1930, and was made by Cauldon Ltd, Cauldon Place Works, Hanley, Staffordshire, UK: part of the infamous potteries and a well known manufacturer of china and earthenware.

This beaker would be great for collectors of blue and white pottery or would look pretty on display in a bathroom or kitchen.
