This is a wonderfully vibrant 1930s Vintage Cauldon Ware Triumphal Chariot 8 Inch Pottery Bowl With Blue And White Transfer Print.
In fairly good condition, with no chips or restoration. It does have manufacturing defects, scuffs, scratches and blemishes, and a hairline crack which is not visible on display and proved very difficult to photograph: (see image with the red arrow pointing to the crack). The price has been adjusted as a consequence of the defects.

The pattern is also known as Arcadia (Utopia), and depicts a scene comprising charioteers in a two-horse drawn chariot in a picturesque landscape with people close by and on top of a building sporting Doric columns.
Dates to approximately 1930, and was made by Cauldon Ltd, Cauldon Place Works, Hanley, Staffordshire, UK: part of the infamous potteries and a well known manufacturer of china and earthenware.
This bowl would be great for collectors of blue and white pottery or would look pretty on display in a bathroom or kitchen.
