Vintage British ASTRA Metal 6-Light Traffic Signal Toy No.33 In Its Original Box

This is a quite rare Vintage British ASTRA Metal 6-Light Traffic Signal Toy No.33 In Its Original Box, and in working condition once properly wired to a 4.5v flat battery (not included). There is a switch on the rear of the lights to turn them on/off.

Dating to the late 1940s, post WW2, this is a great find for collectors of vintage toys and O-gauge model collectors. In pretty good cosmetic condition with slight loss of paint and surface blemishes. The box is stained and discoloured, with one detached side flap, but is intact.

• Base Length:- 8.5 cm 
• Height: 15.2 cm

This lovely metal toy was made by Astra Pharos Limited, London, UK, who manufactured metal toys from the 1930s to the 1950s, and are best known for their WW2 model searchlights and artillery.
