Vintage Brannan Brass Wall Hanging Thermometer Mounted on A Wooden Plinth

This is a very nice Vintage Brannan Brass Wall Hanging Thermometer Mounted on A Wooden Plinth.

The liquid, rectangular, thermometer measures in both centigrade (-12 to 55 ℃) and fahrenheit (5 to 130 ºF), and is working but I can't attest to its accuracy.

There are marks in the brass surrounds and some scuffs on the wood. Otherwise, it is in pretty good condition for its age. Although the scales are slightly hard to read, I haven't been tempted to polish the brass or strip the plinth as I didn't want to ruin the patina.
