For all collectors of bakelite, how about a Vintage BOC Brown Bakelite Circular Ashtray? Actually, we are not absolutely sure that it was made as an ashtray ... but an interesting item nonetheless!
BOC stands for the British Oxygen Corporation/Company.
In very good condition with no chips and cracks, there are some surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use.
Approximate Size: 11.4cm Diameter, Height 1.5 cm
Marked BOC on the rear and probably manufactured in the 1930s/40s. It would also make an interesting desk tidy!
