A lovely Vintage BMAC White Plastic Bus Bell Push With Red Button On A Bakelite Base.

Approximate Measurements:

  • Bell Push Face Diameter: 5.8cm (2 1/4 Inches)
  • Depth: 3cm

As used on the 1960s London Routemaster Bus and Trolley buses, the bell push is labelled, 

Push Once

acting as a signal to the bus driver that someone wants to alight the bus. On the routemaster the bell could be pushed by a passenger or the bus conductor.

Embossed on the black bakelite rear with the manufacturer and number:-

A wonderful piece of vintage transport history, in used condition, with scratches, scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use. One of the screws is missing at the rear.
