Vintage Blue Enamel and Chrome Vehicle Badge Philips Motor Club PSSC

This is an unusual Vintage Blue Enamel and Chrome Vehicle Badge Philips Motor Club PSSC, made for employees of the iconic Philips electronics company, UK.

Approximate diameter:-  7.6cm (3")

The outer and inner parts of the badge comprise blue enamel over chrome lettering. The middle of the inner circle comprises gold coloured enamel. It is in reasonable condition with slight loss of enamel / colour. There is scuffing on the face surface and the metal is pitted / worn on the rear. 

It has two screw holes for fitting to a badge bar or vehicle grille: fixtures and fittings are not included. 

Produced for the Philips Sports and Social Club (PSSC) probably for being a member of the motor sport section of the club or for participating in social motoring events. The badge dates to the 1960s / 70s and very few seem to be in general circulation.
