Vintage Bipolar Tesla Coil Electronics / Radio Curio

This Vintage Bipolar Tesla Coil Electronics / Radio Curio is a great find for all collectors of vintage technology and spark gap / inductions coils.

It is being sold as a collectible device, for display only. It has not been tested and is sold as seen.

Beautifully made, this Bipolar Tesla coil comprises a primary winding of thick wire centred around a large cylindrical secondary winding of thousands of turns of fine wire with high potential ends. The ensemble is mounted on a thick piece of wood. The wood plinth and components are in pretty good condition with scratches, scuffs, and blemishes commensurate with age and use. 

According to Wikipedia:-

Bipolar: Neither end of the secondary winding is grounded, and both are brought out to high-voltage terminals. The primary winding is located at the centre of the secondary coil, equidistant between the two high potential terminals, to discourage arcing.
