Vintage Bakelite Fronted AVO MultiMinor MK5 Multimeter.  In Its Original Transit Case

This amazing little gadget is a Vintage Bakelite Fronted AVO MultiMinor MK5 Multimeter. In Its Original Transit Case, the meter looks to have had very little use and probably dates to the 1960s/70s.

The Multiminor Mk 5 has the following sensitivity and ranges:

• DC: 100mV, 2.5, 10, 25, 100, 250, 1000 V;
• AC:  10, 25, 100, 250, 1000 V;
• I (DC): 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 mA;
• R ranges are 0-20 k and 0-2 Mohm;
• Ohms/volt: 10k on DC ranges, 1k on AC ranges.

A wonderful piece of electronic history, it comes with its original black plastic case with leads and probes. It does appear to be in working condition but I can't attest to its accuracy.

The instrument was designed to take a single AA type 1.5 volt cell, which is not included. 

The meter is in excellent cosmetic condition with some minor surface scuffs and blemishes.
